What you can do

• The most important task is to let Congress know how you feel. Call, write, phone, visit or email.
• Talk with family members, coworkers, friends. Urge them to let Congress know.
• If you are a member of an organization, make a short presentation seeking support from others. Get more information and resources from our educational materials page.

Letting Congress know how you feel:

At least three people should hear from you: Your representative in Congress and your two US Senators.

Assume nothing about how you think they’ll vote. Don’t assume how they’ll vote just by whether they’re a Republican or Democrat.
